makeup or makeover?

I wanted to share my makeup routine with you all so I decided what better way than to make a video! I hope you guys enjoy ✨

I started wearing makeup in the 9th grade when my mom said "you need to start adding some color to your eyes". So of course this began the infamous blue eyeshadow phase...but my signature look was green eyeshadow, clear mascara, and lipgloss (a whole mess). As I got better at makeup, people began to tell me I was more beautiful with it, so of course I felt like I HAD to wear it. I became SO insecure about my natural face that I literally used to sleep in my makeup... it was crazy. It honestly wasn't until this year that I became like 90% confident with my natural face and actually going out in public without makeup on.

People always ask me how I wear makeup basically everyday and honestly I look forward to doing my face everyday. Like just sitting down, listening to music and doing my makeup is without a doubt the highlight of my day because it is SO relaxing.

Makeup is all about enhancing your features! So my makeup routine does just that... enhances the features I love and covers up a few imperfections. I like to focus on my eyebrows because I have a whole 5 head so why not have some good brows to balance it! I also like my nose so I always over highlight. My grandmother and mother have moles all over their face and mine are finally coming in so I like to enhance them! Lastly, I love the shape of my eyes so I always enhance them with winged eyeliner, eyeshadow or lashes!

TIPS & TRICKS

• Use a lighter brown color at the front of your brows and go in the direction of the hairs and turn the brush upwards

• It is important to blend in between your brows with a beauty blender or whatever you blend your concealer/foundation with

• Letting your concealer sit under your eyes adds extra coverage
